September 11

Today is September 11th. The ten year anniversary of the terrorist attack. It seems like it wasn't that long ago. I was too young to even understand what was going on that day, but I remember seeing a lot of people crying so it was kind of scary. My sister who is five years older than me is the one who told me first. She just said that some people ran two airplanes into the Twin Towers in New York. I didn't even know what the Twin Towers were either. Throughout the years I remember the nation really coming together as a country. I guess it took a tragedy like that to bring the country closer. I don't see how anybody could do something like they did to us. It was shocking. But even today, ten years later, there is a lot of people that still show they're respect. I watched the Cowboys football game and the whole team and coaches were all wearing FDNY hats instead of their normal Cowboys hats. There was a lot of stuff on TV today about it too. It was a terrible day 10 years ago but at the end, it brought america closer together.
